A real gem of a place

Fabulous place – lovely reunion with sisters from Australia. Loved snoozing in the tower of Casita – BRAVA Emma! It was fantastic to have Casa Mosaica Apartment and the Casita all to ourselves and of course seeing you after all these years. Hope to visit again in the future, it is a real gem of a place.

What a wonderful place! Casita Mosaica is beautiful and just perfect for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Drinks on the terrace of the tower – highly recommended! What a view! Thank you Emma for making everything so lovely.
A magical place, beautifully done in every day

Casita Mosaica sits on the edge of the mountain town of Gaucin. There are cafes, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The view from the Moorish Tower is breathtakingly beautiful and with a drinks fridge located on the top floor a perfect location for a sundowner looking out across the beautiful and ever changing mountain scenery and watching the eagles circle and housemartins fly looking for insects. The bedroom and bathroom are very comfortable and pretty. The kitchen is well equipped with a lovely sitting room at one end and great selection of books and DVDs. Lovely terrace off the kitchen with full use of garden beyond and swimming pool. I will definitely go back.
A real home away from home

Despite the inclement weather we loved Gaucin, the Casita and the countryside around. We were cosy with the fire and so comfortable – a real home away from home – thank you.

Having stayed in Casa Mosaica Apartment for many summers I came down with my partner John to stay in the Casita. He now loves the village and even more the house, we have had a fabulous time here and are planning on a return next year. Thanks Emma.

Emma’s place is absolutely beautiful and was a much needed oasis of calm after a week driving through Andalucía. We were sad we couldn’t stay longer and would absolutely come again. Highly recommended.
Beautiful Moorish Retreat

Rented both the apartment and the casita
Wow! What a place! This place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and so relaxing. If you are into moorish design, paradise gardens within a lovely Spanish mountain pueblos blanco, yet close to the coast and other places of interest, then this place has it all. There are fabulous mosaics throughout the property and gardens which are stunning and inspiring. We feel as if we are in the grounds of a beautiful ryiad yet outside the walls is an equally beautiful white Spanish mountain town. Stay here and you will immediately feel relaxed. We loved it there and the lovely owner made sure we were well looked after.
Perfect romantic hideaway

We are just returning from a week in Emma’s gorgeous casita and what a week it was. It is so tastefully decorated and has everything you could think of in terms of facilities (and a few things we didn’t think of!)
I can say without a doubt that this is the best rental property I have ever stayed in, and just the perfect place for a getaway as a couple.
We spent most of our time either lounging by the pool or sitting on the rooftop (which has views to DIE for). We are already planning our next visit. Don’t think twice about staying here :)

I have to take this opportunity to thank you for creating and letting us stay in such a very, very special house. The planning of the space and the attention to detail are extraordinary. You could easily have fitted in 1 or 2 more bedrooms in there. You didn't REALLY need the double height living space but how wonderful that it's there.
